Freya is my pick female from his litter. She’s sweet and ready to please, but I wanted a girl who was a bit ‘spicy’ and she fits the bill there, too! Just like her sire, Tyger, Freya likes to do things her way. Freya’s name comes from the Norse goddess of love, beauty, and magic, among other things. Her registered name is a hint to the ‘old ways’ of Freya the goddess herself. It also speaks to the fact that although I made a genetic outcross in her pedigree, my primary goal is preservation of the ‘old ways,’ aka herding. Freya will continue to show conformation on a limited basis. I do hope to finish ASCA and UKC CH, but my main goals for her are herding and sports.
Right now, Freya is working on puppy manners, socialization, and basic rally skills. My aim is for us to debut as a team in rally in the spring of 2025!
